This winter event has heaps of limited items, companions, and rewards that disappear once the timer runs out. If you want the outfits, trophies, decorations, and event-only crops, now is the time to prioritize. Below I break down exactly what I did, what to grind, and a daily checklist to make sure you don’t miss anything.
Why you need a plan
The event countdown is brutal: several limited items and activities only return rarely or never. A focused approach lets you get the most tokens, trophies, and exclusive pieces without burning out. I treat the final week like a priority quest list—one that I check every day.
Top priority: farm fashion wave tokens via the bug event
The fastest way to stack the tokens required for most purchases is the Frostbore bug event. Don’t rely on double procurement—doing the bug event with as many players as you can find is the most efficient route.
- Join or host lobbies to speed runs and maximize bug catches.
- Turn in often—you can sell an unlimited amount of bug drops for tokens.
- Save one of each bug type if you want in-home displays or rare five-star specimens later.
In casual farming sessions I was able to hit tens of thousands of tokens in just a couple of hours. If you can coordinate players through chat or a community server, you’ll make much faster progress.

Daily checklist for the final week
Do these things each day to avoid missing limited items.
- Run multiple Frostbore bug event lobbies and turn in your catches.
- Check the event shop and vendor rotations daily—some items rotate and disappear.
- Cook any remaining penguin-stove recipes and sell or store them. They may become unusable after the event.
- Complete event tab challenges and claim outfit pieces in each weekly set.
- Feed and level up penguin companions for trophies and extra poses.
- Collect all event eggs and claim exclusive egg recipes.
Cook and stockpile before penguin stoves vanish
Players have reported that penguin stoves might stop being usable after the event. To avoid losing recipes or ingredients:
- Cook up ingredients now—finished dishes stay in your inventory even if crafting becomes disabled later.
- Sell cooked dishes for tokens or gold if you need currency instead of decorations.
- Keep copies of signature dishes like frosted pancakes and iced coffee if you want them on display.

Event tab and weekly rewards
Make sure every daily/weekly checkbox is cleared. Week six is likely to contain more outfit pieces, so don’t leave any challenges undone. Many of these tasks are simple but easy to forget, like placing food in your home or gifting your cat.
- Claim exclusive pieces such as plush bucket hats and windproof accessories.
- Decide whether the season pass is worth buying for your goals—initial rewards are strong but end rewards may not be impressive.

Exhibition rewards and trophies
Exhibition passes and trophies are limited-time. Collecting event stars from activities is how you unlock them:
- Stars are earned by collecting fish types, catching bugs, cooking dishes, and harvesting crops.
- I recommend pushing at least to the trophy tier—those are genuinely worth the effort.
If you’re short on stars, prioritize activities you can farm quickly: bug catching (I completed the full 25 easily) and bulk cooking if you have ingredients.
Stock up on fashion wave-exclusive crops
Crops like highland poppies and white radishes can be bought from the gardening vendor during the event. These may be flagged as fashion wave exclusive and disappear afterward. I suggest:
- Buying a healthy stock—consider 50–100 of the key crops if you plan on crafting or decorating later.
- Storing extras in your warehouse so you don’t need to farm them later.

Penguin companions: feed, level, and claim rewards
Penguin companions are limited-time and have their own reward track. Feed them to level four to unlock postcard-like content and a new pose. Level five grants a final trophy that’s worth chasing if you want the set completed.
- Feed them daily and hit the level thresholds for poses and trophies.
- Complete companion quest lines during the event to claim decorative penguin statues and other limited items.

Fashion activities and exclusive outfit pieces
Fashion challenges include exclusive items like snowflake plush ear muffs and other outfit pieces. Go through each fashion activity and claim what you can—these are often one-time rewards that vanish with the event.

Egg collection
There are 16 event eggs and an exclusive egg recipe tied to them. If you haven’t collected all the eggs, prioritize that checklist—some eggs unlock unique recipes and display items.
Practical priorities (my personal ranking)
- Bug event token grind
- Cook and store penguin-stove dishes
- Feed companions to level 4–5
- Claim weekly event outfits and exhibition trophies
- Buy and warehouse exclusive crops
- Collect all eggs and recipes
Final notes
The last week of a big event is always a scramble. If you commit to a short daily routine and prioritize bug events and key checks, you’ll secure most of the limited rewards without burning out. Save at least one of each collectible if you want keepsakes, finish the companion levels for poses and trophies, and don’t forget to stockpile exclusive crops and cooked dishes.
If you stick to the checklist above and check the event tabs daily, you’ll avoid regretting missed items after the event ends. Good luck out there—I’ll be grinding the lobbies too.
